The Midwest is full of small towns and rural areas. These areas are some of the most tranquil and beautiful places to live. Unfortunately living in a small town often makes you feel uncomfortable having body contouring procedure done there, especially if you don’t want people to know that you’re having “work done.” You also have fewer options for physicians and specific treatments in the smaller towns. At Imagen Body Sculpting we see patients from all over Nebraska, Iowa, South Dakota and Kansas who come to us because we specialize in SmartLipo Triplex. Given that people are coming great distances, we get a lot of requests for travel information.
We will often set up a 3 day “trip,” for our out of town guests, so that they can do the consultation on day one, the liposuction procedure on day 2 and then come back on day 3 so that we can change their dressings and compression garment. Because this can be difficult to plan, we will often have you send in photos of yourself to make sure that you could be a good candidate for liposuction (we can’t say for certain until we actually see you). We will send you the Pre-Op Instructions by email so that you can follow them in the weeks leading up to your appointment. That way you will be ready for your liposuction procedure if you decide to go ahead with it.

If your significant other is giving you a ride to the clinic and picking you up after your procedure, there are a number of options for passing the time. If they like shopping, Westroads Mall and One Pacific Place are less than a mile from the clinic and Nebraska Crossing Outlet Mall is less then 20 minutes down the road. If you’re coming in with children, the Omaha Zoo is not to be missed! One of the best in the country, it encompasses an indoor Jungle, a glass domed Desert and a phenomenal Aquarium, so even if the weather is less than perfect (which never happens in Nebraska!) you can still spend hours exploring. If you prefer an outdoorsy experience, Fontanelle Forest and Lauritzen Gardens give you an opportunity to connect with nature on an intimate level. There are a number of museums, including the Durham Museum of History and the Joslyn Art Museum, where you could easily spend the day.
If you’re looking for someplace close to have breakfast on the morning of your liposuction, Paradise Bakery & Café has a variety of tasty options. For dinner Fleming’s Steak House is just a few blocks from the clinic. Blue Sushi is good and the Drover has one of the best steaks I’ve ever had!
